Forum: General Stuff Topic: Embedding Youtube Vids started by: GORDON Posted by GORDON on Nov. 09 2015,17:44
I don't even have this site bookmarked, I just type "youtube old embed code" and hit enter and it is the first link.< https://www.tools4noobs.com/online_tools/youtube_xhtml/ > Cut and paste the new youtube embed code in the top window, click the "Generate" button, and then copy all of the code between the CODE <object> tags so you don't get an advertising link under the vid. All in all, I can do all of that in about 7 seconds.Until Malcolm and Catt write the new forum, that is. Posted by Malcolm on Nov. 09 2015,18:39
QUOTE Until Malcolm and Catt write the new forum, that is. Writing a new forum is an entirely different bag of radioactive wombats. Double plus work, but ultimate customizability, and you're as secure as your OCD needs you to be. We've discussed: 1) locating better software ... I personally think this is the best bet 2) hacking the existing code ... who the fuck else knows Perl? Posted by Leisher on Nov. 09 2015,19:00
Catt pointed out an option for existing software and some conversion tool to bring over the existing database, but he'd know that stuff better than me.
