If you don't want your tat to look like crap, you generally meet with the artist beforehand, preferably on the recommendation of someone you know, and they sketch shit out. I don't blame her for not doing Twitter anymore. Personally, I think there's something on the masochistic mental disorder side for someone at that level of public exposure to get on there. But expecting someone to force the entire Internet to not act like drooling and spittle slinging morons is typical progressivism of total control.
