About 3 years ago I needed to replace a part on the mowing deck of my riding lawn mower, and I pulled my maintenance manual, knew the exact part number I needed, and went to a local service place to order the part for me. To my knowledge, I never did an internet search for the part because I figured there was no point.Amazon just recommended the exact part to me. < http://smile.amazon.com/gp....1p_1_ti > WTF internet? Did you previously buy the lawnmower online? Maybe that model has a tendency for that to break - but yours did three years sooner than averagw - and Amazon has just been waiting to link you this whole time?

Nope, never online. It's insane.

What lawnmowery things have you bought on there?

I looked at mower deck belts about a year ago.

Oh, also compost conversion kits last month.

Were those specific to your model?

One of the nuts from the guard on my chainsaw vibrated off the other day, so I just hit amazon and searched "poulan 18 chainsaw parts" to see if they sold replacement parts. One of the options on the front page was a DVD of "The Evil Dead." I approve. Posted by Paul on Aug. 10 2015,16:00
