(Cakedaddy @ Dec. 23 2013,15:50) QUOTE Vote with your heart. When did you become a mixture of Qui-Gon Jinn and Oprah? Posted by Cakedaddy on Dec. 23 2013,14:04
It's not Oprah, it's Napoleon.

Imo, a few = 3 to 5

I would have liked one of the poll options to be "a few".

A few would me more than a couple, and less than a half dozen IMO.I think most people would say "3" or "5" if they were talking about time or quantity of friends over or whatever, so I said 4. Anything around 4 is a few. Posted by TheCatt on Dec. 25 2013,18:01
2 is a couple.

I can get behind 3 to 5 in general, but it really also depends on what is being measured and the context under which the measurement is occurring. For example, I think "dinner will cost a few bucks" could be as much as $8 to $12 at current dollar values. However "your wife blew a few dudes" should be limited to no more than about five.

2-45 seems wrong somehow Posted by TheCatt on Jan. 02 2014,12:22
2 is a couple. Although, I'll admit I used to use "couple" to mean 2 or 3.So... what prompted this, and when do we get to vote on several? Posted by GORDON on Jan. 02 2014,15:00
I can't believe this thread has lasted this long.
