What I dont get is that there's like 100 sizes now.Snack sized Fun sized Mini sized Giant sized Regular sized super mini fun sized Posted by Leisher on Nov. 28 2012,12:15
The Kit Kats not only drop from 4 to 2, but they make them about 60% of teh size of the regular ones. I get that they do it for Halloween, Easter, and so women don't have to feel as guilty about having some, but maybe if they dropped the prices a bit on the normal sized bars people could afford to give those out. Candy bars shouldn't cost $1 or more. Just sayin' Posted by TPRJones on Nov. 28 2012,14:11
I remember back when there were movie theaters that only cost a dollar! One sec, I'll be right back ... Hey, you kids, get off my lawn! Posted by Leisher on Nov. 28 2012,17:56
That's cute, but in the case of candy, it isn't about cost of living increases or inflation. Until Cadbury Creme Eggs return to a reasonable price the candy industry can kiss my ass. Posted by Cakedaddy on Nov. 28 2012,21:38
I agree. It's not thinking about the good old days. It's the fact that a Milkyway is not worth a dollar. There isn't a dollars worth of Candy there.Talking about the good old days though. . . .59, .79, .99. That was awesome. Posted by Malcolm on Nov. 29 2012,07:35
I bet you all remember when gas was a nickel, too.
