My wife and children are supposed to be flying home Saturday around 3:30pm into RDU. I'm guessing that does not happen.

As it is, looks like it will hit just west of where my parents' beach condo is. So hopefully it's still there on Sunday.

Yeah, they're now predicting it will only be a Cat 1 when it hits, instead of cat 3.

I've heard Obama is going to start blaming the bad economy on bad weather/earthquakes/and shit, so they gotta hype them.

Heard from conspiracy theorists?Hurricane was cat 1 at landing, two piers washed away, lots of power out, but otherwise things seem to be fine around my parents' place - Atlantic Beach/ Pine Knoll Shores.
Windy here, some power outages, lots of debris on the roads.
