I drove approximately 200 miles of roads through PA this week. I'd estimate I was in 150 miles of construction zones.Never saw a single construction crew.
Some people who lived there told me one particular road had been a construction zone for 2 years.
Fuck you, Pennsylvania.
Also saw approximately 1 dead deer every 5 miles. Big ones. One had been cleanly decapitated.

I'm pretty sure Pennsylvania has been rated as having the worst roads in the country.

Because of the construction zones my average INTERSTATE speed was 48.

Penn. has a hunting rule that if the deer doesn't have at least 6 inch atlers you can't shoot it. Suppose to make the herd stronger in the long run. Allot of hunter are mad as hell about it. Head game warden even recieved death threats.

Back in PA.Driving north up SR 6 tonight, someone had drawn penises on all of the Deer Crossing signs. As in, they gave the deer a long penis. It was so subtle and well done that I had to wonder if all Deer Crossing sign deers were sporting a long penis and I just never noticed before. Every sign was identical.
Well done, Deer Crossing sign defacer(s).
Also I had to stop and honk at a deer standing in the middle of the road to get the hell out of my way.
