Picture your favorite hero team. Take The Avengers for example. Now picture them all as complete dicks who look down upon those without abilities. Not in a evil overlord way, but a you're ants to us sort of way. Imagine them fucking one another constantly and being so bored with their power and status that they push boundaries where ever they can.
The Boys are a government sanctioned team created to take these superheroes down a notch.
The source material is amazing. All the familiar faces are there only presented with enough tweaks to avoid lawsuits. I actually wonder if the big companies will complain more in this format than they did when it was just a comic.
