Synopsis:
Sean Connery stars in a police training vid as a grizzled 20-year force vet who comes across a dude that in all likelihood just raped a young girl. Â He drags him into custody and shit gets real.
Review:
Directed by Syndey Lumet, Sean actually handpicked this movie as his vehicle. Â Be forewarned, the accents are very, very British. Â It's not technically a one-man show, but the Scotsman dominates the film's action including a highlight where he beats the shit out of three characters at once. Â But Sean Connery kicking someone's ass on a set ain't nothin' new.
QUOTE
Then one day, Stompanato, consumed with jealousy and anger, burst into the studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, where Turner and Connery were filming, and waved a gun at Connery, warning him to stay away from the actress. Connery wrestled the gun off him and laid him out cold with a right hook. Turner later had her American boyfriend quietly kicked out of the country by Scotland Yard.
Verdict:
Heady, psychological, and reflective. Decent overall but holy fuck it drags in a few places.
