Synopsis: A moderately well-off white collar dude goes out to the desert with his slacker brother and a couple other wastrels for a camping trip. They accidentally wake up a demon.
Review: This is a horror comedy, so think Shaun of the Dead atmosphere with survivalist setting. The titular amigo isn't so much undead as possessed. He sort of drives the plot in that he shambles along after the main characters very slowly. But he's actually a supporting villain who occasionally drops in on the protagonists as they reflect on what the fuck they hate about their lives and each other. In fact, until a deus ex machina in the last few minutes, he's totally unkillable. The entertainment comes from the uptight Asian dude and his adopted man-child of an unambitious, lazy brother.
Verdict: Not bad. Worth renting.
