I don't see this happening but that is the rumor that is increasing EA's stock price.

The ps3 has pretty much recovered from its terrible start and is doing well but if this ever were to happen that would be the end. I see song going to EA and offering them all sorts of deals because if either MS or Sony lost EA they would be dead.

I disagree completely with the analyst in that article who claims the rumored deal would make no sense.

Really dipshit? Controlling ALL the major sports titles for consoles doesn't make sense? You could pretty much put Sony out of the console business and further distance the Wii from actual gamers.

Not to mention that they'd get all of EA's distribution deals and franchises. How many big name franchises would become X-Box 360 and PC exclusive titles?
