Here. Vid game industry has been hammered w\ layoffs the past couple months.
Which is interesting because $50 for what could be dozens of hours of entertainment seems to be a better value than 2 hours & $10-20 for a flick. Hell, even a few of the dudes that shipped Madden '09 (which did relatively well) got axed. Then again, EA is a company run exclusively by bastards.

Maybe the current financial climate will push game prices down to pre-latest gen of consoles levels?
PC game prices never jumped when the last gen of console games hit, but for some reason all console game prices jumped from $49.99 to $59.99 and "Collector's Edition" sets became more common at $69.99 to $99.99.

Well, if they'd eased off on the DRM they'd've have gotten another $120 from me by now. I'm sure I'm not alone in that.
