Bah. Becoming a Federal Communications Commissioner is a leading cause of bad logic.
Studies have shown a strong coorelation between basements and college dropouts: a statistically significant percentage of college dropouts leave school in order to live in their parent’s basement. Therefore we can conclude with certainty that parents should move into a house with no basement if they want to ensure their child will complete their college education.

This just in, also important to non-drop out and play WoW in basement students: Sex.
Make sure that you're college bound student knows that they are expecting to be very slutty while in college. A years supply of condoms is much more important than that new laptop he or she "claims" is for studying. During Thanksgiving, Easter and other holidays, quiz your college student, assuring that he or she is being slutty enough, has enough partners, or in the female case, is willing to fellate on command.
Only you can prevent WoW basement dwellers, and if you don't get them fucking, it can happen to you!
