Something smells fishy here. I bet there will be plenty of conspiracy theories.
Here's how the meeting might have gone at Intel: "So, the NSA is forcing us to put keystroke tracking right into the chipset. We obviously can't keep it a secret, so how to we sell it to the public without being compared to Nazis by everyone? Oh, hey, how about we spin it as an anti-cheating feature for games!"
