EverQuest's company (who I'm too busy and indifferent to look up) manages to fuck up a sequel to a classic cash cow. Â Why they elected to develop such a product in what I'd describe as a saturated market is beyond me. On the other side of the world of quality and reputation, Blizzard is still patching and maintaining their old skool shyte.

Have you played a Blizzard game since 2010?
All they make is fad-chasing cash-grabs now and when they do develop a promising IP like Heroes of the Storm or Hearthstone (and I used the word 'develop' quite wrongly, there), they poke so many holes to make sure the money can get in that it wouldn't float in peanut butter.
Patching old shit is just a way of reminding people that they used to like Blizzard so it can pinch twenty more bucks out of them. "C'mon, baby, remember all them good times we had? I got a new game comin' out that's just like that!"
