Kinda cool game. Think real-time rogue choose your own adventure.
You receive a message from outer space. A scientist has crash-landed on a foreign planet and is separated from his entire crew. You are his only hope for survival.
The thing is, the game plays in real-time. You tell the guy to check something good out, the game pings you an hour later when he gets there.
Playing on my Android tablet right now. I think it is on sale for $1 right now.

Hah. Not sure they ever address that other than to say the person's name is Taylor.

Taylor being an ambiguous name doesn't help.

I wonder what the branching looks like for this game?
Like: Do you have to pick right every time, or X% of the time? Can you get back to the "right" path or are you screwed if you make a wrong choice?
I'm about to hit night two, I think.

Day 3 gets really interesting. I'm still in the middle of it. Lots of reading.

I completed the story yesterday. I honestly thought Taylor couldn't die, but apparently she/he can and I just had a good run of choices.
For $1, this is completely worth it. However, I hope they improve stuff for future sequels, stories, and other games in this genre.
I'd like even more interactivity. Maybe not anything involving "action" because that would take the games out of the genre, but something a bit more involved.
Catt, if you like this game, you might want to try A Dark Room and The Ensign.

A game like this wouldn't be too hard to make. But I had problems coming up with another premise.
I'm on day 3, I have no idea what the odds of dying are.

Premise is easy.
I could write a story that would take it farther into interactivity too requiring more google searches.

And again, I was writing emails to CCP tech support in 2003(?) telling them to integrate emails and text messages into their game (EVE Online).

I played a game that used to send me emails and might have even called me. Not sure of the year. I want to say it was a spy game.
