Funny, I like it.
Although I bit disingenuous, in that studies have shown there's no causal link between piracy and lack of sales. Admittedly those studies have mostly been about music - and to a lesser extent movies - but I bet it also applies to games. But then I wouldn't expect them to be trying to foster an open and honest discussion on the issue in their game there, so that's okay.

There have been numerous other instances of developers putting bombs in pirated versions of things. Although, given the subject matter here, it's kind of poetic.
