System Shock 2 will be released on GoG tomorrow and in the near future on Steam.

Developed by Ken Levine and the Bioshock games are often referred to as the spiritual successors to System Shock 2.

As with most old games if you didn't play it at release then it probably won't have the same impact but seeing as how this is in almost every Top 10 games of all time list some of you should have experienced it.

Gordon you could sell that for some cash. I have seen sealed boxes go for $200.

Are you thinking of the one with the little space ship you would fly around within your system?

No.  There was a game that had the ability to take info on your hard disk and inject it into the game somehow.  I have vague memories of it.

Yeah, I thought it was System Shock, but googling doesn't help. Not sure.

I remember the first time it did that to me.  Blew my goddamned mind.  I'm going to go insane until I fucking remember it.
