Grand Theft Auto style gameplay without the open world to play in.

This game is very, very linear. Do not expect a ton of side missions or things to do. In fact, there's no reason to even explore the game world except if you're searching for the wanted posters and playboys to get the achievements.

It does tell a very good story, but don't come looking for anything more. In fact, I will promise you that whatever you expect the story to be, you're wrong. I was really surprised by the turns in the plot. And yes, a sequel was setup with a very natural and logical point where the sequel can pick up the story.

Actual gameplay is pretty standard for the genre. No really big twists to talk about. Weapons, cars, and music fit the era.

Overall, the game feels unpolished like they had really grand plans, but ran out of money and/or time before they could fit in all the side stuff.

The best part of the game aside from the story is the photos of the actual playmates of the month you see for each Playboy collected.

As a rental, I'd recommend this because you can easily beat it in a day or two. As a purchase, no way.

Thus, I'll rate it both ways:
Rental: 7 out of 10.
Purchase: 3 out of 10.

There wasn't much in the way of side missions if there were any at all(been a long time) in the first one either.
