I downloaded the demo the other day to see what it was about.
It's an RTS like Age of Empires, kinda, but more confusing, with worse instructions, and no clarity whatsoever.
Oh, and if you're internet goes out while you're playing a single-player game, it stops. Which happened to me when my RoadRunner went out for 30 minutes this morning.

So, since the demo cannot save, I minimized the game, and went about my normal surfing, etc. I may even have put the laptop to sleep, not sure.
At any rate, suddenly noticed my internet connection was flaky, and degrading. Checked 2 other PCs in the house, no issues.
Shutdown the game, issue resolved.
Fuck ubisoft.

I was just reading about this game, this is the one that requires an internet connection always-on in order to play.
People have been having a lot of problems playing the game at all, not able to connect to the Ubisoft authentication servers.
Unfortunately for the customers, the developers went on spring break instead of fixing the game.
I can't imagine I will ever buy a Ubisoft game after reading this, or any other with this kind of DRM.
-------------- I don't give a fuck!
