*** SPOILER ****  Only in the sense that you will know which level the main bad guy is on.

So, I started the game as a fighter at harder level.  Found it to be too easy up to level 22.  So, I started a second character on hardest as a mage.  Found that somewhat more challenging, but could still make good progress.  When I hit level 34 of the dungeon, I was dying A LOT (started at level 29, but got worse and worse).  Was ressing more than fighting.  So, thinking I'd never beat the game at that rate. . . I switched back to the fighter and continued from where he left off.  I got to level 34 of the dungeon and was dying A LOT.  Not as much as with my mage, but, was still dying.  I kept going with him though.

Little did I know. . . .  Needless to say, I switched over to my mage and fought the bad guy with him to end that game as well.  It was WWWWAAAAYYYYY harder to kill him with the mage.  My fighter would just spam heals and keep slashing away.  The mage had to summon minions and keep running away.  Died so many times that I was losing 5gp to res on that level.  Would pick up mana and health as it dropped to keep fighting.  My critical hits were doing 1200hp of damage.  Not sure if I just had shitty equipment, or if he was just that tough.  Took a loooong time to kill him.  I had something that would give me health from my minions' damage.  So, as they fought, health would pour in (I have 15 minions).  But it took a loooooooong time to kill him.

Then there was a bug.  As I continued on to the town portal, every square inch of the floor had a dragon spawned on it.  But, as they came into view, they would fall over dead.  The XP numbers were all 999999 as they fell, but I wasn't getting any xp, luckily.  Would have jacked me up a ton of levels.  The floor was covered by dead dragons.

Any way.  Thought it was funny that I stopped at the stairs above the main bad guy thinking I wouldn't ever get to him with my mage.

(I have 15 minions).

Where'd you get all the minions?

I have 9 (my cat/dog, the iron giant who punches, the iron giant that shoots lasers, and 6 imps).

I assume you're also bringing in zombies, skeletons, and the flaming sword?

When I beat the game on normal mode, that exact same thing happened to me, although the floor wasn't littered with them. They were scattered about normally.

I don't think it's a bug. I think they all die when the main baddie dies.

I have 6 imps, two iron guys and my pet as well.  Then I did 5 zombies, skels and blood skels.

I think they all die as well, cause any on screen when he went down, went right down.  The bug was in the sense that there were literally thousands of them.  I had retreated up into that area a couple times durning the fight, and ran into a few of them.  But the entire screen was filled with them after the fight.  Every available spot had one spawned.  I almost took a screen shot of it, but didn't.  Also, the XP numbers showing above them as they went down were part of it too.  My whole screen was filled with floating yellow/orange 999999s.

Those numbers aren't XP, they list attack damage.

I think they auto die when the big boss bites it, but yeah, I doubt you should have seen thousands on screen.
