We used to multi the first version of this game way back in the day.
Anyone planning on picking this one up anytime soon?

Actually, we multi'd AvP2. This is effectively AvP3.
I will prolly pick it up. These games have been solid thus far.

Have played about 15 minutes into the Marine mission.
The good (so far): It's pretty. Â I can't play full graphical detail on my quad core, and that is saying something. Â So far I like the environment. Â The hologram pole dancing stripper reminds me of Duke 3D.
The bad (so far): - The game is practically on rails. Â You are literally given an arrow, at all times, telling you where to go. - It is harder than hell to actually kill aliens. Â They are black, the environment is black, and it is taking me 30 rounds from my pulse rifle to down one. Â It holds 99 rounds, and the most ammo I've ever had at any given time is about 150 rounds, and I keep getting killed at one point where I have 20 aliens to drop. Â Sigh. - Which brings me to: checkpoints. Â There doesn't seem to be any save-on-the-fly, unless I just haven't figured it out, yet. - flashlight is about worthless for illumination, and flares last about 5 seconds so are worthless for illumination.
Only 15 minutes into the game, so far. Â Maybe shit gets better eventually. I am playing 'normal' difficulty, and there is still 'hard' and 'nightmare' above that. I may drop down to 'easy' just to progress.
