Ok, this is a nice little human interest piece, but in what way is this even remotely worthy of being the top story?

Here are some of the other news stories today that Yahoo thinks are less important:
NJ is rejecting a proposed visit by Gadhafi a day after the Lockerbie bomber returned to Libya as a hero.
The national debt will double over the next ten years.
Pakistan Taliban admit airstrike killed their leader.
Obese people have severe brain degeneration.
36 people killed by 5 car bombs in Afghanistan.
Half of the U.S. could get the swine flu.
