The "test" site isn't going well...

Seems like what was working was cool, but a LOT was broken. It'll probably be worth the money when its all up and running.

Also like how people complain the whole time, and the final thing that's buried is a letter being sent out offering refunds and free tickets for a return visit. Seems like that deserves to be farther up in the article...

Reads like they needed a couple more dress rehearsals.  The kiosk issue seemed like something that should have been worked out in the equivalent of the Alpha for something like this.

I love comics and I love Marvel, but they don't have a great track record outside of the comics and movies.  And the good movie track record only started relatively recently.  Really, a lot of why comics worked for as long as they have is because you can do stuff on paper in drawings that wouldn't work any way else.  I think a lot of that inability to translate from the 2D comic to the real world hurt them for a long time.  This is one area that I think Disney should really be able to help them.

The Marvel stuff at Universal was pretty good, and that was before Disney even got there.  I predict good things in Orlando.

The live action Marvel Experience with the arena stuff has been kind of goofy from the review I read.  I think translating from paper to real live people without being hokey is hard.  They might do well to get the technical aspects of the SHIELD stuff figured out, because it seems like that might be where you're best able to suspend you disbelief.

Universal doesn't surprise me.  Really, anyone doing real 3D engineering has an advantage over most of the creative minds at Marvel.
