I don't know what the treatment is for brain death, and if the hospital weren't resorting to extraordinary measures already, literally feeding the kid and breathing for her, she'd have expired a bit ago. Â But let's get to the part that's irking me...

Feeding tubes and ventilators do not come for free. Â No matter where she's cared for, be it a hospital or private institution, there is finite space, personnel, and resources. Â Chanting "insurance" while waving your hands wildly in the air does not make money or meds magically fall from the sky.
