Well, if an autopsy turned up signs of long-term hormone replacement therapy, I would bet they would be more likely to be a bit circumspect as to how they described the deceased regardless of what is in the pants. There's more to male and female than the crotch.
The question shouldn't be what do you call someone or which box to put them in, it should be a matter of why does anyone give a crap what someone calls themselves? If some dude wants to be called a woman so be it, let him call himself that and try to play along and it shouldn't make any real difference to anyone not trying to have sex with him/her. On the other hand if you accidentally get it wrong you shouldn't have to put up with some sort of hissy fit.
Ultimately everyone needs to just calm the hell down and if you aren't actively trying to fuck someone then their gender is irrelevant.
Except that the government makes it relevant, what with Title IX and other bean-counting laws whereby we must prove that Wymyn are not getting mistreated. If there aren't enough Wymyn scientists, then that is evidence of Discrimination, which is the worst thing EVAR.
On the other hand, if there are absolutely zero men teaching kindergarten, well that's actually probably for the best, since all men are potential child molesters.

True, however your initial thought it going to be that it's a man or woman based on what's in the pants and the rest of the body's make up. Do they remove the Adam's apple along with the cock and balls?

Totally agree, and he made the statement of "Fine, I'm Batman. From now on, call me Bruce." and got shredded for that too. The claim was that's nothing like the gender identity argument.

That's a problem of bad overreaching government, not a problem of gender identity being an problem. Fix the government.

Outside governmental messes like that above, I can't really come up with any. Oh, some people will say "but it confuses my child" and I think "good, maybe they'll grow up to be more open-minded and less likely to stick their noses in other people's business than their parent." Our businesses and governments should be blind to gender, race, creed, and etc.

Although I have to wonder: does Gabe grab the crotch of everyone he meets so he'll know if it's a man or a woman? Â Or does he use their dress, mannerisms, general form, and other social and physical queues to make that judgement, which would imply that the actual existence of a vagina is probably the only indicator he actually doesn't use in almost all cases.
If it looks like a woman and sounds like a woman and acts like a woman and you normally would have every reason to think it was a woman, must it always walk around with it's dick out so everyone will know what gender pronouns to use?
As with many things, this all depends on the context.
