Real life "Kraken"?
I'm not sure why the other scientists interviewed seem to completely blow off this theory? I mean, I get their argument about the lack of physical proof of the beast itself, but it's not like there's a lack of other evidence or logic in his theory.
Remember back when scientists scoffed at the movie Jaws because the shark was way too big? Then they actually found sharks that big off the coast of South Africa? The shark in the first Jaws was a 25 footer, and a very aggressive 25 footer recently took apart a shark cage there. (We posted that story somewhere in these forums.)
Mutations in nature happen all the time, look at Yao Ming.
