There are not enough derogatory words in the English language to describe the behavior of the coaches who attacked this official...at a youth football event.

Some thoughts:
1. In Florida, attacking a game official is a felony. Oops! I'll bet these idiots didn't know that when they decided to gang up on one older man.
2. Their team was apparently thrown out of the conference for this attack. Even their cheerleading team was tossed. I'm betting this wasn't their first infraction.
3. I believe that rules should be created that when you do something like this, you're banned for life from the sport. This steps over the biggest possible line in sports. I assume the men will be given sentences that bars them for life from youth sports, but I wouldn't cry if that happened to the kid too. 14 or not, fuck him. Let him be an example for every other kid who thinks about stepping over that line.
4. Pretend all the players and coaches were white and the referee was black. This would be the top story on every news show, channel, website, etc. Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton would be screaming into every camera, and they'd probably already be in Florida. Why doesn't this attack get that kind of coverage?
5. Where were the other officials? Update: The first time I watched this I thought they ran off. Upon further review, watch closely, and you'll see two running to their partner's defense, and one throwing haymakers at somebody in the background.
6. One thing nobody is pointing out is the other team and their coaches. Those guys were fantastic. Their kids immediately wanted to get out to the brawl, but were stopped by a few of their coaches who knew that would only escalate the problem. Meanwhile, all the other coaches from that team ran out and got involved in breaking up the fight.
