Personally, my house is divided. I am side to side, wife is round and round, and my 3 year old's corn cob ends up looking like it was hit by a shotgun blast. Random bites everywhere.

Both. It's side to side and round and round at the same time. But not what I would call "random" per se, it's more organized than that. But only just.
