A shocking completion to the trifecta this week as Michael Jackson (Yes, THAT Michael Jackson) has died.
He joins Farrah Fawcett and Ed McMahon who also passed this week.

CNN was just showing clips of the Jackson 5 and I joked to my wife, "Why are they showing this black kid? Aren't they talking about Michael Jackson?"
Too soon?
Seriously though, the guy was as talented as he was weird.

The first time I ever bought a music album, it was Duran Duran/Rio, Men at Work/Cargo, and Thriller.
On cassette.

I have no idea what the first one I bought was. But the first ones I was given were David Lee Roth's Crazy From the Heat and U2's Under a Blood Red Sky.

I don't remember my first albulm, but my first single was Una Paloma Blanca by the George Baker Selection. On 45 RPM.
I don't think I've ever owned any MJ music.

Seriously though, the guy was as talented as he was weird. I was telling coworkers that EMTs were seen giving CPR. Â I said they were pounding on his chest, made a chest pounding gesture, and started singing "Beat It". Watching a special on it right now. Â Not a person they're interviewing that isn't damned weird. Micheal are you ok, Are you ok, Micheal? Micheal are you ok, Are you ok, Micheal?

The first album I bought was Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory.
True story. I needed it for a class project.

The jokes are good but I am sick of hearing the circus of news. Yes he was a great entertainer. Everyone forgets he was a pervert.
