Yesterday:
Wife has misplaced her sunglasses. Â She is searching the house getting more and more irritated.
Wife: I can't find them! Â I know they have to be here! Â Did you notice when I had them on last?
Me: Â (Detecting danger now that her attention is on me) No, I can't recall where I saw you with them, last. Â Also, this is going to end up being my fault, right?
Wife: Of course not. Â But if you paid more attention to me, you'd have noticed where I had them last.
