Now normally I'm kind of a materialist. I mean...I feel like I have free will and all but...what exactly IS the mind, or the soul?
Then I read this thing, talking about how maybe information is a thing separate from matter-energy. That still doesn't answer the question, but it's an interesting perspective. We actually have some mathematics to deal with information.
Information might be a separate thing but it's not independent. It cannot exist without being made of something; it's specialized and organized matter-energy. Information is universal radiation.
