Just pondering how people who are prone to make more mistakes are the ones who need the most help, from their parents or the government or whomever. People who stay in school, don't get pregnant, and don't do drugs seem to need the least help.... so what are the big mistakes peeps make in their lives?
I'll start:
- Do drugs - Drop out of (high) school - Get pregnant before they are self sufficient
-------------- I don't give a fuck!

QUOTE Get pregnant before they are self sufficient This is huge but I'll argue it should be grouped under this....
QUOTE Spend too much (Buy a car too early/more house than can afford)
I'd tack on genetic predispositions and psych/mental issues. Â I think the former is credited too heavily with behaviour, though it still affects you, and the latter is misdiagnosed and neglected, with the offending organ drugged into a state of unconsciousness. Then there are people who are insulated from the idiocy of their mistakes that never learn.

QUOTE Fine reasons so far, but I'd tweak this one: QUOTE - Do drugs irresponsibly All things in moderation. Well, obviously I meant using drugs to the extent that you stop going to work, stop paying your bills, that sort of thing. Â My own opinion is that recreational use doesn't hurt you as long as it doesn't affect your responsibilities.
I also think that a lot of people don't recognize that line when they come to it.... like the line that separates Minnesota from Iowa. Wink.

On another note, Doing anything irresponsibly tends to lead to bad shit for someone, drugs aren't special.
