Cop killer killed. A fire somehow started during a shootout. Either Michael bay rewrote physics or "police tossing smoke grenades" really means "police chucking incendiary devices."

Don't know. But only the article thib linked mentioned anything about the cops going all trigger happy on anyone that so much as drove a similar make/model of car. I find it hard to have any sympathy whatsoever for those involved in this scenario.

We are definitely not being told the whole story.
Guy is a vet and cop. Loses his job. Goes nuts and declares war on cops. Starts by killing his lawyer's kid? Then kills cops who have nothing to do with his firing?
None of it makes sense.
I think even the MSN is confused. Notice they used an adult picture of him smiling? If they thought he was innocent, they would've published a picture of him as a kid, maybe opening Christmas presents. If they thought he was guilty, he wouldn't be smiling...or he'd be white.

So, they're smoke grenades, but only by virtue of the fact they've got a high chance of setting shit on fire and thereby cause the smoke? I'm also fairly certain Waco involved the FBI driving up armoured vehicles to the compound and blasting it with flamethrowers.

Smoke and CS gas grenades got pretty damned hot. It's a chemical reaction that releases heat and the gas/particulate. COULD start a fire in a cabin.... but... conditions would have to be just right.

Yeah, I don't think that's right. I think I remember their motorized battering rams cut the natural gas lines, then they got ignited.
At any rate, I don't think there were flame throwers.

2. One argument FOR flame throwers would be... Clinton was in office, therefore the media was covering for the democrat.
I remember congressional hearings with Janet Reno, though. Seems like it would have come out then.

Fuck them all. Had they been up front about having them beforehand, I'd be more inclined to believe them about the usage.
