Apparently the Catholic Church is upset that Obamacare is going to force them to pay for contraception or whatever.
BOO FUCKING HOO. We stopped attending Catholic Mass a few years ago because the Catholic Church was gung-ho behind "health care reform." And I'm not the only one who feels this way.
SUCKERS.

It sounds to me like he is saying that insurance companies will just eat those costs.

It's no different than some of the shit FDR pulled to get around the Constitution during the New Deal era. For example, there used to be a tax on food processors that was paid directly to the farmers producing the food, as "stimulus" or whatever. Supreme Court said HEY.... you can't tax one entity with the sole purpose of paying that money to another entity.
So, FDR changed the wording of the law that the food processors were still taxed the same amount, but now it went into the general fund/big hole in the ground, and the farmers were still paid their stimulus out of the big money hole.
Same bullshit, different century.
Hope, change.

QUOTE (TheCatt @ Feb. 10 2012,12:09)
QUOTE Uh... what? Ā And where will they get the money to pay for these free contraceptives? Ā From the religious institutions paying for insurance? More likely it will be accounted for as a general expense not tied to any particular account pool. Ā So in the end all of their customers will pay for a small part of it. Well, right.
I'm just saying, this is basically a shell game, and the religious providers are still paying for it, in some way.

But not as much of it. We'll all pick up the tab together.

I'll be so glad when religion finally dies out completely. It's so obnoxious.
