An Aldi just opened up near me, right across the street from the Super Walmart.

Super-cheap groceries, pretty much all off-brands, and last time I was in one (about 15 years ago) they didn't have any bags to carry your shit out to the car.
I know Unk likes shopping there.... but I never thought there would be a grocery store in the area that made me feel high class for going across the street to Walmart. ;-)
15 years ago they had some random brand of corned beef hash that had tough bits of leathery cow skin in it. At least, I hope it was cow skin. Got this consistently in a few cans, so I pretty much swore off the entire store.
