Enough for ya? Dipped below 0 right after sunrise, wind chills from minus 2 to 8.
Had to bring in wood. My balls wanted to tell the hey left nut joke but as a unit they have become turtles.
Didn't want to venture out but only keep 3.5 days worth of wood inside. Let it run down to not have to bring it in during the snow. Can stay inside a few more days if I have to now.
Of course I couldn't stave off the gas fireplace from running. Woodburner just couldn't keep up. It was only once and for about 5 minutes but so much for my goal of no running and screwing Columbia Gas.

Yeah, I'm really thinking about expediting the sealing off of the crawl spaces in the basement.

You lose 72% heat out the attic, 21% out walls, 7% out floors. Not that much but worth a fix.
Got her cranked now. 75 in the kitchen, 69 in the familily room. It'll do.

I have a little space heater in the basement set at 63.  It keeps the first-floor floors a little less cold than they usually are.  With that cold air coming in that shitty black plastic, I had to turn off that space heater because it was running continuously.

Once I get the room finished, the computer equipment will do the same job the space heater is doing.

But I got to get the basement sealed off from the outside first.

One good thing about this cold. I just came down from my walk upstairs. Maybe 55 up there. Didn't start to perspire until 10 minutes into my walk. Feels good not being all sweaty while exercising.
